Jamás pienses en la derrota, elimina de tu vocabulario palabras y frases como: “desistir, no puedo, soy incapaz, imposible, ni hablar, no es probable, fracaso, irrealizable, inútil y retirada”
Evita la desesperación, si no, entonces trabaja dentro de la desesperación. Trabaja duro y soporta lo que venga. Pasa por alto los obstáculos que surjan ante ti y mantén fijos los ojos en las metas que estén por encima de tu cabeza, porque donde termina el árido desierto, crece verde hierba.

There was once a child who yearned to be a singer, but his teacher gave him no hope. Nevertheless, the child’s mother believed in him so much, she sent him to another instructor. In order to pay for voice lessons, she often sent him out without shoes. At other times the child went without eating. That child’s name was Henry Caruso, the greatest tenor of his time.
When Henry Caruso became a successful singer, someone asked him, “What is the secret of your success?” He responded, “I did a small mathematical operation: I added 95% effort to 5% talent.”
Caruso did not enjoy success overnight. The price was much time, effort, courage, giving up other things and perseverance. Without effort, friend, there is no success.
It is comforting to know that no one will judge you on your talent alone. A person does not have to be enormously gifted to reach the highest height. At the end of the day, what we are asked is whether or not we will truly strive to develop our talents and abilities.
Friend, everyone has talents, but not everyone exerts him or herself to excel.
Never think of defeat! Eliminate “I can’t,” “not likely,” “impossible,” “useless” and “loser” from your vocabulary.
Steer clear of despair, and if you can’t, then strive despite it. Work with all your heart and endure what comes. Overcome obstacles that arise and keep your eyes fixed on the goals in front of you, knowing that where the arid desert ends, green grass grows.
Add your 5% talent to your 95% effort, and you will be crowned with success, assured that today is your best day yet, and tomorrow will be even better!
