Un joven, buscando trabajo en el periódico encontró un anuncio, solicitando a un joven para cierto trabajo, con las siguientes características: “Que sea dinámico, agresivo y que piense por sí solo”. Este muchacho al día siguiente, va a donde se iba a llevar a cabo las entrevistas. Al llegar, ya había dieciocho jóvenes haciendo fila para ser entrevistados. En ese momento pensó, y pidió a la secretaria un papel y lápiz.
Después de escribir algo en el papel, le dice a la secretaria: “Este, es un mensaje urgentísimo para su jefe, lluéveselo enseguida” La muchacha va donde el gerente, que ya se estaba preparando para las entrevistas, y le dice: “señor allá afuera hay un joven que dice, que es un mensaje urgentísimo para usted”. El gerente abre el papel, lo lee, mueve la cabeza, se ríe y dice: “Mándame acá a ese muchacho” “Señor antes que él llegaron dieciocho: “No importa, a éste me lo mandas primero”
¿Qué decía el papel? ¿algo mágico? ¿algo complicado? ¡No!, algo sencillo, como todas las cosas cuando pensamos. El papel decía: “Señor gerente, afuera hay una fila de dieciocho muchachos esperando ser entrevistados por usted. Por favor no haga absolutamente nada hasta que me haya visto a mi primero”.
¿Era dinámico, agresivo, pensó por sí solo?, claro que sí. Como decía el anuncio en el periódico. ¿Quién crees que obtuvo el trabajo? Pues ese muchacho que pensó. Eso es lo que estaba buscando la empresa.
Amigo, el ser dinámico, agresivo, y sobre todo pensar por sí solo, o sea tener criterio propio, que no tengan que estar empujándote para que hagas tu trabajo, son cualidades que todos necesitamos para ser promovidos, escuchados y llegar muy alto.
